NBA Audience Kisses Stranger After Her Date Snubs Her On Kiss Cam Of New York Knicks-Houston Rockets Game
A woman became a star in a viral video after she was captured on camera kissing a stranger after her date apparently snubbed her on Kiss Cam while watching an NBA game between the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets on Jan. 8.
Titled “Woman Kisses Man Next to Her on Kiss Cam After Date Snubs Her,” the YouTube was viewed more than 6 million times three days after it was published on Jan. 9. The mystery couple was said to be just playing a prank on the cameraman who picked them out after scanning Madison Square Garden during the game, which was won by the Houston Rockets.
Among the thousands who watched the game and the kiss was 19-year-old British tourist Hugo Davies, who filmed the Kiss Cam incident. Visiting family in New York, he filmed the kiss because he said it was his first basketball match, but he definitely was not expecting what he captured on video.
“At first people were shouting and laughing because he was ignoring her but when she kissed the other guy everyone went crazy cheering and laughing,” Davies told Daily Mail. “When it did happen I couldn't stop laughing at the time, like she totally embarrassed the guy.”
