Kevin Durant has brought his A-game against the Portland Trail Blazers all throughout his NBA career and this season he fared even better than his normal scoring average.

However, he could not deliver the win for his Oklahoma City Thunder, which has lost two of three in the first three match-ups in the season series between the two West contenders.

The Blazers took two games in December to the tune of 111-104 and 98-94 before the Thunder bounced back with 105-97 win at home in January. In all three games, KD was his explosive self averaging 38.5 points per game and a 46-point output in the last meeting when the league’s top scorer hit six 3-pointers.

Durant however is not the only one doing big damage in this season series. Blazers big man LaMarcus Aldridge has logged in three huge double-doubles against OKC this year: 25 points and 14 rebounds; 38 and 13; and 29 and 16.

The Blazers have struggled as of late going just 5-6 in their last 11 games to drop to third place in the West Standings with 36 wins against 15 losses. The Thunder, owing to winning 13 of their last 15 games, climbed to the top of the conference with a 41-12 win-loss record.
