The Miami Heat are still in the hunt for their second consecutive NBA title after LeBron James came alive offensively in the fourth and Ray Allen knocked down a game-tying trey with 5 seconds left in regulation to grind out a 103-100 victory against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday at American Airlines Arena.

Allen scored only nine points in Game 6, but the biggest of them all came in the winding seconds of the match as he caught a perfect pass from Chris Bosh off an offensive rebound and knocked down a backbreaking trey to send the game into overtime.

The Spurs, who led for the entire game, had several chances to snatch their fifth NBA title but their shots just won't hit the target when they matter the most. The Spurs only made two field goals in the extended period, allowing the Heat to complete a come-from-behind win on their home floor.

James racked up 32 boards, 11 assists and 10 boards for his second triple-double of the series while Chris Bosh produced a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards. The Heat forward also came up with two huge defensive plays in the final minute, one of which was a block on Danny Green's potential game-tying three-point jumper.

Tim Duncan recorded 30 points and 17 rebounds, Kawhi Leonard had 22 points, and Tony Parker tallied 19 in a losing effort for the Spurs, who faced a tough task of pulling off a victory against the Heat at American Airlines Arena on Thursday (Friday 10:00 a.m - Sydney Time).
