The Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks had their winning streaks snapped in their last game. Both squads hope their trip to London will bring them back to the win column. The game marks the fourth NBA regular season game in London and will be held at the O2 Arena at 6:00 a.m. AEDT

The Nets lost to the Toronto Raptors in their last outing but they feel good after winning five games in a row before that game. Meanwhile, the Hawks are winners of two of their last three after losing to the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Nets have finally turned the corner at the turn of the year with quality victories over quality teams including the Oklahoma City Thunder, 95-94; Golden State Warriors, 102-98; and the Miami Heat, 104-95 in overtime.

The Hawks responded from a three-game losing skid from January 3 to 6 with back-to-back wins over contending teams Indiana Pacers, 97-87 and Houston Rockets, 83-80 before the loss to the Grizzlies on the road.

The Nets and Hawks met just last Monday, January 6 with the Nets coming out with a 91-86 win led by Joe Johnson who finished with 23 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists against his former team. Three other Nets players scored in double-figures namely Mirza Teletovic (16 points), Alan Anderson (14 points) and Shaun Livingston (12 points).

The Hawks led by six points at halftime but came up short in the second half. Paul Millsap top-scored for the Hawks with 16 points but only shot 4-of-12 from the field and the Hawks were limited to 38.6% shooting and had 18 turnovers in that game.

The Hawks hope to continue their excellent team play in London. Atlanta leads the league in assists per game with 25.4 dimes per outing. The Nets meanwhile aims to continue their good defense recently. They held opponents down to 91.7 PPG in 2014, a far cry from the 100.7 PPG average they give up for the year.
