NBA Los Angeles Clippers vs. Miami Heat Preview and Betting Advice
Just a game after dropping 137 points, the Los Angeles Clippers couldn’t get anything going against the lowly Orlando Magic and suffered a 98-90 loss Wednesday Night.
Playing in their first back-to-back games of the season, the Clippers look to bounce back against LeBron James and the rest of the Miami Heat, which are targeting their first three-game winning streak in 2013.
The Clippers beat the Houston Rockets, 137-118 Monday night with seven players finishing in double-figure scoring for the Clippers led by J.J. Redick (26 points), Chris Paul (23 points and 17 assists) and Jamal Crawford (21 points).
The loss to Orlando two days later was a stark contrast to their success vs. the Rockets. The Clippers’ offense shot 36/95 from the field or just 37.9 per cent including 3 of 19 (15.8 per cent) from beyond the arc.
Meanwhile, the Heat are coming off wins over the Washington Wizards (103-93) and Toronto Raptors (104-95). Despite playing without Chris Bosh in their last game, the Heat delivered their first road win of the season led LeBron James, who finished with 35 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists.
Dwyane Wade added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and Ray Allen chipped in with 14 markers.
Bosh, who had to stay in Miami to attend to his wife who gave birth, is expected to suit up against the Clippers on Thursday
