The 30-year-old Anthony is the Knicks’ leading scorer with an average of 23.2 points per game in the 2014-2015 NBA Season. The Knicks are short-handed at the forward spot with back-up Cleanthony Early and Andrea Bargnani also out due to various injuries. Expected to get the minutes and up their production for New York are Iman Shumpert, J.R. Smith and Tim Hardaway Jr.
The Knicks currently own a 4-11 win-loss record, one of the worst records not only in the Eastern Conference but in the entire league. New York finish a three-game West road trip versus the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday before going home to take on the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets at the Madison Square Garden.
