Oklahoma City's duo of Russell Westbrook (27 points) and Kevin Durant (28 points) had big scoring nights to lead the Thunder to a 106-94 victory of the San Antonio Spurs.

The win cut the deficit of the West-leading Spurs to just 3 games and OKC still has a chance to take steal the top spot-- and homecourt advantage all throughout the NBA Playoffs-- if they can win some more and Spurs falter in the final stretch of the NBA regular season.

Westbrook added 7 assists and 4 steals to completely dominate Tony Parker (6 points,3/10 FG) in the battle between the league's top point guards. Serge Ibaka finished with a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds plus 3 blocked shots for the Thunder, which shot 49.4 per cent from the field (40/81 FG).

The Spurs were led by Patty Mills (21 points), Tim Duncan (17) and Kawhi Leonard (17).
