NBA Recap: Thunder Beat Bulls (Oklahoma City 97, Chicago 85) [Slideshow]
With the high-powered duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, the Oklahoma City Thunder are known for their high-scoring games in delivering the wins this season.
Against the Chicago Bulls, they showed they can also slug it out against defensive-minded teams—and beat them on their own game. The Thunder beat the Bulls in a low-scoring affair, 97-85 on Monday night at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
OKC led by just two points at halftime, 47-45 but turned it up after the break to outscore the Bulls, 50 to 40 in the second half.
As expected, Durant (35 points) and Westbrook (17 points) led the team in scoring even as Serge Ibaka added 15 points.
