NCIS Los Angeles: Celebrates 100th Episode, Who Won’t Survive Season 5?
Packed with thrilling episodes and well-written scripts, NCIS Los Angeles is celebrating its 100th episode since its premiere on the CBS network on September 22, 2009. Cast and crews are celebrating for this milestone by ending season 5 with a big bang; someone in the cast will not be joining the next season.
First it was Cote de Pablo who said goodbye to NCIS and it was heartbreaking, now another cast is saying goodbye. Season 5 started on March 27, 2013 and promoted Miguel Ferrer to be a series regular.
The 100th episode "Reznikov, N." is directed by Tony Wharmby and written by Shane Brennan, and it features the team as they try to investigate a kidnapping case of a man who claims to be Callen's Father. Soon the NCIS team find themselves in grave danger, which will lead to one cast tragic end.
"What I heard is that there will be a character leaving at the end of this season, or towards the end of this season," Daniela Ruah reveals to us. "That's what I've heard. I don't know who it is. It might be me! Who knows?"
It seems that even the main cast does not feel safe about the future of the show. According to LL Cool J who plays Sam Hanna, NCIS: Los Angeles Senior Special Agent; he needs to make it out of season 5 alive first before he can be certain of his character's future.
"I want to get through this season, and then we'll get to those other episodes," he says. "From what I hear there's some cast members that might not make it through this season. Let's deal with that first."
"This season you're going to see a lot of shockers," LL spills. "We're going to throw curveballs at people and they definitely aren't going to see them coming."
