Spoiler alert: This update contains “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 spoilers. Season 7 ended with a big episode focused on Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J). The next new episodes will bring the spotlight to the other characters and cast members.
NCIS: LA Season 8 challenges Hetty and Granger
A mole gets discovered at the NCIS: LA office. As a result, someone in the team gets gravely injured. Subsequently, the leadership of Hetty and Granger gets questioned. Show boss R. Scott Gemmill told TVGuide this development will challenge not just Hetty and Granger, but their whole team.
“The team is going to be under investigation by the Undersecretary of the Navy due to the identification of a mole in their department,” reads the episode synopsis of “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8, Episode 1.
Gemmill also teased Eric and Nell are "dipping their toes in the water of a relationship." This effort toward conscious coupling does not surprise fans of the show. The two have been working as a romantic unit for a while now albeit they have been avoiding taking things to a rather serious place. Perhaps the rumoured engagement and wedding of Kensi and Deeks will inspire Nell to give Eric a chance. Being nerds, the two are likely to put their romantic testing under some sort of alpha test.
NCIS: LA Season 8 expected to bring back G. Callen’s father
There has been a lot of narrative about G. Callen’s (Chris O'Donnell) father in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 7. He even makes an appearance for the avid fans who have been wondering about his real identity. Seeing him interact with the cast and characters in Season 8 would be good progress.
The events in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 are expected to allow the characters to blossom in their complicated layers. In contrast to “NCIS” Season 14 where a couple of new characters will be introduced, NCIS: LA will focus on unravelling more about the current characters and exposing them to new challenges.
“NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8, Episode 1 is also the 169th episode of the CBS series.
