"NCIS: New Orleans" is the newest spinoff of smash hit series "NCIS" and "NCIS: Los Angeles." The highly anticipated police procedural series premiered on Sept. 23, 2014 and drew more than 17 million viewers and decent reviews. The plot of the Episode 1 revolves around the murder of navy officer Calvin Barkes who was mentored by Pride. Moving on to the second episode of "NCIS: New Orleans," the show's storyline is set to feature another thrilling case. In this segment, the team is facing a deadly challenge that can put lives of the officers and everyone else involved in danger. They are investigating the breakout of an epidemic.

CBS has released the description of "NCIS: New Orleans" Episode 2, teasing the plot of "Carrier." According to the report, on their new mission, Pride's team will be joined by NCIS investigation officer Agent Tony DiNozzo.

After hearing about the death of a Navy lieutenant on liberty, the team rushes to save the rest of the crew. It turns out the cause of death of the sailor is "bubonic plague." The team puts everything on line to prevent the eruption of the contagious disease by discovering the "source." Will Pride's team be able to save New Orleans and the sailors from the fatal disease?
