"NCIS" Season 11, Episode 7 is called "Better Angels." The show's Twitter account is promising a must-watch show, though fans already know that because Jackson Gibbs (Ralph Waite) is returning. Meanwhile, someone is set to take over Ziva's desk soon. Cote de Pablo's "replacement," Emily Wickersham, has been promoted to series regular.

Spoiler alert: This feature contains minor spoilers from "NCIS" Season 11, Episode 7: "Better Angels."

In "Better Angels," Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will have to be away to help Jackson Gibbs (Ralph Waite) deal with a family matter. In this Twitter teaser by the NCIS account, Gibbs senior tells his son, "I want you to meet him. Leroy, I need you to do this."

On TV.com, a short episode summary for NCIS 11x7 states: "While Gibbs attends to family matters with his father, Tony and McGee argue over who should take point on the current case."

While the boss cat is away, McGee (Sean Murray) and DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) argue over who will play boss for a couple of days. In the process, McGee will point out DiNozzo is not in his best shape considering his sleepless state. Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) will once again figure in the viewers' memory, because Tony is still dealing with her exit.

In the previous episode, NCIS Season 11, Episode 6, "Oil and Water," Diane Neal and Leslie Hope come on board for some extra female touch for the viewers. As Secretary of the Navy Sarah Porter, Hope discreetly brings up the issue on personnel count. Then Gibbs tries to hire Neal's CGIS Special Agent Abigail Borin. It prepares the audience for the eventual arrival of Ziva David's replacement.

When will Emily Wickersham show up in NCIS Season 11 as Ellie Bishop?

Avid NCIS fans - Tiva followers or not - certainly miss Cote de Pablo on the show. Mark Harmon, Sean Murray, Pauley Perrette and Michael Weatherly remain brilliant as ever. But something's amiss in the big picture, according to forum site and social network postings.

Emily Wickersham, known for her work in "Sopranos," will be seen in a November episode. She plays NSA analyst Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop. According to showrunner Gary Glasberg, NCIS Season 11 is about to have some extra exciting episodes. This is apparently to remind the viewers why they are still following the series over a decade since it began.

TV entertainment reports indicate Emily is scheduled to debut on NCIS Season 11 on its Nov. 19 episode (NCIS 11x9). Citing Emily's "energy and enthusiasm," Glasberg said in a statement, "Great things are planned for Bishop."
