Tiva fans are awaiting NCIS Season 11 with a bit of grief. "Sopranos" star Emily Wickersham reportedly gets the "Bishop" role, which replaces Cote de Pablo in NCIS, according to reports. It has earlier been reported that NCIS will be rotating some agents before a permanent newbie is welcomed as Ziva David's replacement. Meanwhile, Michael Weatherly (Tony DiNozzo) says the Tiva closure is like a "big Christmas stocking on Christmas morning."

NCIS executive producer Gary Glasberg has released spoilers, saying Cote de Pablo's Ziva David exit will be taken care of in NCIS Season 11, Episodes 1 and 2. As a consolation to fans, the showrunners have announced Ziva will not die.

Wickersham has reportedly signed up for only three NCIS Season 11 episodes. But if she has been cast as Bishop, she could be taking on a more permanent status. Describing Bishop, TV Line reported she's "fresh-faced, focused and somewhat socially awkward. She has a mysterious mixture of analytic brilliance, fierce determination and idealism."

Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David have been affectionately called "Tiva" by many NCIS fans. Michael Weatherly says the NCIS Season 11 premiere is "immensely satisfying." As if reassuring the Tiva fans, the actor hinted Ziva's departure was managed creatively.

"Even if you hate Tiva, even if you love the Tiva, if you're ambivalent, it's like a big Christmas stocking on Christmas morning," Weatherly told E! News.

Glasberg also said, "(M)y main concern was for Tony and Ziva to have the time they deserved." This "time" will be one of the show's most memorable moments in over a decade.

"Following an explosion at a D.C. black-tie affair, Parsons assumes a new role within the NCIS agency, while Gibbs' team remains down three agents."

For Episode 2: Past, Present, Future: "As Gibbs and the team search for a terrorist ring stateside, Tony travels to Israel with the soul mission of finding Ziva."
