"NCIS" Season 12, Episode 6, titled "Parental Guidance Suggested," airs Tuesday, Oct. 28, on CBS. In this week's new episode, Pauley Perrette's Abby Sciuto lays a loaded one-liner on Tony (Michael Weatherly): "I loved Ziva (Cote de Pablo) but she left us."

Spoiler alert: This update contains NCIS Season 12 spoilers. Read at your own risk if you have not seen the previous episodes and the promo clip.

Cote de Pablo's Ziva David left NCIS over a year ago, but many of the Tiva (Tony and Ziva) shippers and Cote's avid fans are still hoping for her to come back. In TV forum sites, however, other NCIS viewers would simply say: "Let go." This exact message is in the NCIS Season 12, Episode 6 promo video.

Tony DiNozzo meets FBI Agent Leia Pendergast (Stephanie Jacobsen) in NCIS Season 12, Episode 4. He realises he "has a type."

But in the following episode, CGIS Special Agent Abigail Borin (Diane Neal) hints things are not perfect between her friend Pendergast and Tony. In this week's Episode 6, another woman comes in, probably Tony's type, too: ATF Special Agent Zoe Keates (Marisol Nichols).

Tony making attempts at moving on is interpreted as a sign that Ziva David is slowly being written out completely, and she may not be heard about again. The Russian villain linked to Ziva's brother Ari in the season opener may only be a part of the farewell. Still NCIS Season 12 has more stories to tackle than Tiva.

"The NCIS team is going to investigate the murder of the wife of a Navy commander, who recently appeared on a Jihadist target list," says the official synopsis of NCIS Season 12, Episode 6. It adds, "The NCIS team is going to have to determine if the murder of a Navy commander's wife is linked to her profession as a therapist or an act of terrorism after finding the commander's name on a Jihadist target list. In the meantime, the team is going to discuss Halloween costumes and Tony's recent dating habits."

The bit on Tony's "dating habits" is perhaps directly related to Abby's insight in the NCIS Season 12, Episode 6 promo clip.

NCIS 12x06 was written by Jennifer Corbett and directed by Tom Wright. Some viewers are awaiting more developments on the Russian villain, Sergei Michnev (Alex Veadov), but he might not return until later in the season.
