Michael Weatherly's Tony DiNozzo to Reunite with Cote de Pablo's Ziva David?

"NCIS" Season 12, Episode 7, titled "The Searchers," airs Nov. 11, Tuesday, on CBS. DiNozzo is considering a lifestyle change by owning a cat. There was no new NCIS episode a week ago, but an update came out in spoiler reports: Casting for Gibbs' mystery ex-wife is done, and Jeri Ryan gets the part.

Spoiler alert: This update contains spoilers on NCIS Season 12. Read at your own risk if you have not watched the previous episodes.

"The NCIS team investigate the murder of a retired master sergeant and uncover a fraudulent charity that preys upon families who are searching for missing military personnel," reads the NCIS Season 12, Episode 7 synopsis on TV.com.

"Meanwhile, Bishop agonizes over the results of her probation evaluation; and Tony contemplates adopting a stray cat that followed him home," ends the NCIS 11x7 synopsis.

Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) gets a special mention in the episode synopsis, which could mean the series is exploring the character further, bringing him even closer to the viewers.In fact, DiNozzo is considering getting a cat. Does it seem like a lifestyle change that Tony would do?

Also getting a special mention in the NCIS Season 11, Episode 7 synopsis is newbie Ellie Bishop (Emily Wickersham), whose journey as a character in the series has yet to become truly relevant.

After meeting FBI Agent Leia Pendergast (Stephanie Jacobsen) and reuniting with ATF Special Agent Zoe Keates (Marisol Nichols), what happens next to Tony DiNozzo? Between Pendergast and Keates, it appears the chemistry with Tony is better with the ATF agent. Earlier NCIS Season 12 spoilers confirm a new lovestory for DiNozzo, but Tiva fans do not mind waiting.

Meanwhile, news is out that Jeri Ryan is playing Rebecca, the never-before seen ex-wife of Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) in NCIS Season 12.

"After 12 seasons there was still one ex-wife to cast opposite Gibbs and we found her in the beautiful and talented Jeri Ryan. We're all very excited to have Jeri join us for a storyline that's chock full of surprises," reads the statement of NCIS showrunner Gary Glasberg in this TV Line report.

NCIS Season 12 airs Tuesdays on CBS.
