"NCIS" Season 12, Episode 9, titled "Grounded," airs Tuesday, Nov. 25, on CBS. Jamie Bamber debuts as Bishop's husband Jake in this week's new episode. Meanwhile, spoiler updates confirm Tony DiNozzo and Zoe Keates will be seen in at least one more episode this season.

"DiNozzo, Bishop and her husband, who are stuck at Dulles airport due to inclement weather, work an NCIS case involving an elevated terrorist threat to Northeast airports during the Thanksgiving travel period," reads the NCIS 12x9 synopsis on TV.com.

"Jake (Bamber) and [Ellie Bishop] are off to Turks and Caicos for a much-needed vacation when we find out that all these delays are happening," Emily Wickersham, who plays Bishop, told TV Line in an interview about NCIS Season 12, Episode 9.

"Then, after we run into Tony (Michael Weatherly) at the airport and the guys get to meet, we find out that there is some chatter about a possible situation involving a terrorist," Wickersham added.

Bamber, who is celebrated for his role in Battlestar Galactica, is appearing for the first time in the series, although Bishop has made several references to her husband since Wickersham joined NCIS a year ago.

In a separate report, TV Line revealed what viewers will see in the fall finale of NCIS Season 12, which airs Dec. 16. Ethan Rains, Erin Allin O'Reilly and Vik Sahay are reprising their roles as cyber terrorists. NCIS needs help because "a city-wide Internet blackout [occurred] the week before Christmas."

Meanwhile, Tony DiNozzo and ATF Special Agent Zoe Keates (Marisol Nichols) will have more scenes in NCIS Season 12. Showrunner Gary Glasberg told TV Guide the "connection" between DiNozzo and Keates "will come up again at some point."

"It was a tough year for Tony DiNozzo last year. We're going to continue down the road of getting back to what we call the old Tony DiNozzo - [seeing him] spreading his wings a little bit and enjoying himself," Glasberg added.

NCIS Season 12 airs Tuesdays on CBS.
