‘NCIS’ Season 13 Finale Secrets: Michael Weatherly teases potential shockers

The “NCIS” Season 13 finale is only a few episodes away. Michael Weatherly recently teased his Twitter followers about potentially huge surprises by showing an interesting photo. As the actor is set to exit the series as Tony DiNozzo, fans are now speculating on the imminent exit which coincides with the finale.

“Closed set for the finale on #ncis and they ain't kidding,” Weatherly captions a photo of a signage, warning against trespassing. Could this be related to a surprise appearance of Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David? Tiva fans could only hope. There has been no confirmation about Ziva’s return for DiNozzo’s departure. However, fans have been strongly expressing their plea for such a scenario.

When Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) returned for two episodes earlier in “NCIS” Season 13, there were sufficient information to prepare the audience and even hype the potential story. What could be happening in the finale that the producers and crew seem to be extra-careful against spoilers and leaks?

In NCIS 13x19, the last episode (“Reasonable Doubts”), DiNozzo and his father (Robert Wagner) find themselves in a more solid ground as father and son who have significantly resolved past issues. It remains to be seen whether this is Wagner’s last episode as DiNozzo Sr, a recurring character in “NCIS” for many seasons now.

Meanwhile, two actors have been named as new cast members of “NCIS” possibly as regulars from Season 14. Sarah Clarke (“24” and “Bosch”) is playing FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe, while Duane Henry (“Doctors”) is playing Clayton Reeves of MI-6, TV Line has confirmed.
