‘Neighbours’ spoilers for Feb. 28: Toadie becomes torn about his past and present; Sonya questions Mark’s capability as a father
Tension hounds Ramsay Street as various conflicts arise on the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Tuesday, Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) makes a shocking revelation, telling Dee Bliss / Andrea Somers (Madeleine West) about his lingering feelings for her.
Toadie thinks that honesty will make it easier for him and Fake Dee to manage their feelings. However, that may not be the case for them since Andrea is intent on stealing him from Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey). Speaking of Sonya, she begins to doubt Mark Brennan’s (Scott McGregor) capacity to be a father when she sees him with Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta). Other “Neighbours” characters who will appear prominently on the Feb. 28 episode include Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel) and Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer).
“Neighbours” also stars Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Gary Canning (Damien Richardson), Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Jimmy (Darcy Tadich), David Tanaka (Takaya Honda) and Leo Tanaka (Tim Kano).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Tuesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Fake Dee reminds Toadie that they were so in love all those years before. “I would never have come back if I knew it was going to be this hard,” she adds. Toadie looks uncomfortable but replies, “I’m glad you did.” He then makes a shocking announcement, revealing that he has never stopped loving Dee.
Digital Spy reports that Toadie struggles to fight his growing feelings for the woman pretending he thinks is his ex-wife. After his conversation with Andrea, Toadie confides in on Karl and seeks for his advice. Toadie reckons he and Fake Dee can deal with the situation after being honest about their feelings. Meanwhile, Toadie’s current wife, Sonya, suspects that Mark is hooking up with Elly. Sonya is not too thrilled with this thought, thinking that Elly is not exactly an ideal parental figure for the baby. According to Digital Spy, the Feb. 28 episode also centres on Piper, who gets into trouble once again in her bid to make money for her and Tyler.
“Neighbours” recap
On Monday, Paige decided not to tell the truth to Jack after Bishop Green practically told her that having a baby would destroy Jack’s life. When Paige shared this to her parents, Brad blew his top, disagreeing with Paige’s choice. Paige insisted that she doesn’t want to stand in the way of Jack and his dreams, something that he has worked for all his life.
Brad and Lauren became increasingly worried for Paige, who seems to be under a lot of stress. To ease some of this tension, the couple raised the possibility of moving to the Gold Coast permanently. Paige was expectedly shocked but decided to think it over. Later, she met with an ex-boyfriend, who was a lecturer, to consult about uni preparation. Jack spotted Paige talking to her ex and noticed that the man’s wearing a wedding ring. He assumed that Paige’s ex is the father of her baby but Lauren said that’s not true.
Fearing that she’s driven Toadie away, Andrea decided to reel in some help. She talked to Susan and manipulated her to gain back Toadies’ attention. Susan reminded Andrea that Toadie has moved on and he now loves Sonya and his family. Andrea agreed and said that is why she’s keeping her distance. Later, Susan bumped into Toadie at Harold’s and she shared that Fake Dee’s feelings for him are coming back and that is why she’s putting the walls up. Susan reminded Toadie that he needs to prioritise his family and asked him to respect his ex-wife’s decision.
Later, Toadie decided it’s time for him and Andrea to have a chat. When he knocked on her door, she decided to make herself appear more enticing to him and put on a towel – nothing else. Toadie told her that while he understands her reasons for keeping her distance, he wants to be involved in Willow’s life. Andrea took a step forward and continued seducing Toadie but pulled away at the last minute.
At school, Piper received threats from Bec’s “clients,” who are waiting for their fake IDs. Xanthe shared Piper’s dilemma to Ben and Willow overheard their conversation. Willow said making fake IDs is easy and showed one that she made herself. Xanthe came up with a bright idea: Piper can ask Willow’s help to create the fake IDs and save herself from the other schoolgirls’ wrath.
