‘Neighbours’ spoilers for Jan. 23: Dee explains how she 'came back from the dead,' but Sonya doubts her story

However, he soon becomes convinced when the woman claiming to be his wife accurately recounts what transpired during the tragic event. Other “Neighbours” characters who will appear prominently on the Jan. 23 episode include Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner) and Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Monday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Dee marvels at the house she used to share with Toadie. She remarks that it has changed so much. Toadie is incredulous, recounting the tragic day that she supposedly died. “If you give me a chance to explain, it will all make sense,” Dee says.
Digital Spy reports that Dee will manage to convince Toadie with her story, especially the details about her absence. Sonya, on the other hand, isn’t easily swayed. Mark agrees with Sonya, which in turn puts him at odds with Steph. The whole neighbourhood is also split in their views about Dee’s return.
“Neighbours” recap
Last week, Gary desperately sought Tyler’s help about the car he lost. Tyler hesitated, but eventually led Gary to a place where the vehicle could be found. While the car was indeed there, the goods were missing, landing him in hot water.
Meanwhile, the rec center held a dodgeball match, pitting Xanthe and Ben against each other. The competition became too intense, especially between the two. Soon enough, they were the only ones remaining in the court. Xanthe played dirty, managing to distract Ben and hitting him hard on the arm. Xanthe’s team won and she basked in glory while Ben looked crestfallen.
Elsewhere, Toadie was still plagued by thoughts of Dee and he started thinking that her ghost may be haunting him. Determined to spice up their relationship, Sonya arranged for a romantic evening with him. Despite Sonya’s efforts, Toadie was simply not in the mood, clearly with other things in his mind. Later, he tried to make up for it, but just as things were about to get hot and heavy between them, a knock on their door interrupted their moment. When Toadie opened the door, he was shocked to see Dee at their doorstep.
