“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Wednesday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Toadie instantly regrets cheating on Sonya and tells Fake Dee that he needs to call his wife. As Toadie reels at what he just did, Andrea says they both need time to get their heads around the situation. “We need to figure out what comes next,” she points out. “It’s going to be okay, no matter what happens. We’ll figure it out together.”
Digital Spy reports that in the upcoming run, Toadie gets another shock of his life when he discovers the truth about the woman claiming to be his ex-wife. He runs around London streets, completely at his wit’s end after becoming fully conscious of what he did. Back in Erinsborough, Sonya worries that she’s going to give birth sooner than expected. Without Toadie on her side, Mark comes to help her and rush her to the hospital.
“Neighbours” recap
On Tuesday, Karl followed Toadie in London, Susan got busy following a lead about Sindi. Susan was suspecting something’s amiss, especially with her connection with “Dee.” Later, Susan was surprised to hear that Sindi was back in town and wasted no time seeing the former Ramsay Street resident. Sindi said she was there to catch up with “Dee,” and was shocked like everyone else that she took off so sudden. Sindi also appeared worried when Susan said that Toadie and Karl were in London to look for “Dee” and Willow.
Susan tried to coax more information from Sindi but Toadie’s ex-girlfriend kept being evasive about her real reasons of coming to town. Sindi also got careless and called Andrea by her real name but caught herself and made up an alibi. Susan’s suspicions grew – she’s more curious more than ever to find out the truth. When Sindi went to the loo, Sheila came by and talked to Susan. Sheila, who also got hooked with the whole “Dee” story, picked up Sindi’s phone and dialled Andrea’s number. Susan and Sheila were stunned when the call went to “Dee’s” voicemail. Sindi caught them with her phone and stormed off.
Later, Susan headed to the police station and shared with Mark what happened. He searched the database and found an assault case that Andrea’s neighbour filed from Perth. Mark was shocked when he saw Andrea’s photo – she looked exactly like Dee. He said “Dee” showed the exact same photo to Toadie the moment she arrived in Erinsborough, except that her hair was blonde. She also claimed that the injuries were from the vehicle accident after their wedding. Realising that Andrea has been pretending to be Dee the whole time, Susan told Mark that they need to tell Toadie the truth immediately.
In London, Willow appeared at Toadie’s hotel room, ordering him to stop chasing her and her mum. When he asked why they ran away from Erinsborough, Willow said it’s because they’ve been caused enough problems for Toadie’s family. He insisted it’s no trouble at all but she was adamant.
That night, Toadie called Sonya via Skype and she was so happy to finally hear from him – she had been calling him all day. He, however, didn’t seem to share the same sentiments. He confronted her about being on the same bed with Mark the other night, as Nell reported. An argument ensued between the two and Toadie ended the conversation… or so he thought. Moments later, someone knocked on his door – it was Andrea. Amid everything that he’s going through, Toadie gave in to temptation and ended up being intimate with “Dee,” unaware that Sonya’s seeing the whole thing.
