'Neighbours' spoilers for May 16-19: David returns from the hospital and Sonya gets drunk in public [VIDEOS]
The "Neighbours" cast 2017 including Sonya (Eve Morey), Toadie (Ryan Moloney), Nell (Scarlett Anderson), Finn (Rob Mills), Xanthe (Lilly Van der Meer), Susan (Jackie Woodburne), Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou), Gary (Damien Richardson), Paul (Stefan Dennis) and David (Takaya Honda) will be part of the main storylines this week. According to Digital Spy, the "Neighbours" episodes from May 16-19 will feature Sonya fighting to keep custody of her daughter, Finn executing his plan's next stage and David preparing for his first date. On Tuesday, Sonya will read an article from the West Waratah Star, which Steph (Carla Bonner) will show her. Meanwhile, Brooke (Fifi Box) and Gary will be caught by Sheila (Colette Mann) as they prepare to do their secret mission. As for Tyler (Travis Burns), he will still continue to find a place to live in with Piper (Mavournee Hazel). However, he will be shocked when Piper tells him that she doesn't even want to move out with him.
Wednesday's episode will show Toadie informing Sonya that he wants to take custody of Nell because she has been drinking again. She needs to sober up to get her kid back. Sonya will try to convince Toadie that she won't hurt their daughter. As for Terese, she will make assumptions based on Gary's secretive behaviour. Plus, Elly (Jodi Anasta) will be embarrassed and worried when Susan tells her that her teaching history will be investigated thoroughly.
On Thursday, Finn will be taking his plan to the next level in the hopes of becoming the next school principal at Erinsborough High. He will make his big move. However, Susan could put a stopper to his dreams because he underestimated her capabilities. Meanwhile, Paige (Olympia Valance) will be overwhelmed by the reality of her pregnancy. It doesn't help that she feels all alone. Gary will also be curious about his confrontation with Terese and will dig deeper to find more answers.
Friday's episode will feature David being surprised by Will (Christian Heath), who asks him out for a date. Meanwhile, Finn will bend the rules. Unfortunately, his plan could have severe repercussions. As for Leo (Tim Kano), he will be pressured into getting more money to pay for the damage at the Backpackers. This might lead him to do something brash to earn a lot of cash in a short period of time and David will worry about this. The Ramsay Street residents celebrated Mother's Day on Monday's episode. However, not all of them got what they expected. Sonya felt very emotional with everything that has been happening in her personal as well as professional life. As for Brooke and Gary, they went on a journey as part of their scheme.
