An emotional day awaits Ramsay Street on the next episode of “Neighbours.” On Friday, Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner) comes face to face with the son she gave up years ago. This is an extremely important event in her life, which is why Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) and Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey) are confused why Steph doesn’t want to share it with Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor).

Speaking of milestones, Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) makes a life-changing decision when she volunteers to leave town with Ned Willis (Ben Hall). “Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Friday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Steph finally meets Adam, the son she gave up at birth. She introduces herself to him as his mum and says she wants to spend time with him and get to know him better. They sit down and have a picnic, while Steph’s holding back her tears. Digital Spy reports that Steph informs Toadie and Sonya about the meeting, but asks them to keep it from Mark.

Another preview video shows Ned and Mark inspecting the camper van. They notice that it has been tampered with. Mark suspects that Jacka did it, and urges Ned to report the incident to the police. Ned doesn’t want to – it might further irk Jacka and do something more dangerous. Mark says that Jacka is out for revenge and adds that the best way to hurt Ned is to hurt the people he cares about. “You just can’t sit there and do nothing,” Mark tells Ned.

Digital Spy spoilers suggest that Ned decides to leave Erinsborough in order to protect his family from Jacka. Elly is stunned, but offers to go with him. Meanwhile, Gary gets confused when Terese treats him coldly. He has to make a choice between fighting for Terese or walking away.

“Neighbours” recap

On Thursday, Paul didn’t like the sight of Leo flirting with Amy. Paul didn’t waste any time confronting his daughter about it and he warned her to stay away from the new guy. Amy assured her dad that she’s not attracted to Leo in any way. Later, Leo went up to Amy while she’s with his dad at The Waterhole. The tension between the two men was quite thick, and Amy continued to brush off his flirtations.

Paul then went to Leo’s room at Lassiters and informed him about what he knows – Leo’s involvement with the money laundering case. Paul told him to stop working for Terese or the truth would come out. However, Leo was unfazed and he said he’s been digging dirt about Paul as well. Leo even told him to come up with a better offer, and added that Paul’s time is over – there are newer, bigger and better fish in the pond now. Later, Paul dropped a bombshell on Terese: the man she’s dating now is the same person Paul paid to spy on her. Terese was absolutely floored with this revelation, and Paul savoured the moment as he walked away.

Piper was devastated that her parents forgot her birthday. She was complaining to Clementine when Tyler arrived with a present. When he asked her about her plans for the day, Piper said her family didn’t remember. Feeling bad for Piper, he invited her to go out to celebrate and do something fun together. The two spent precious time together somewhere where they could be alone. Later, while they were joking around, the two got physically close and almost kissed. They both liked the fact that Piper’s 17 years old, which sounds a lot better than 16.

Back at home, Piper played the record that Tyler gave her as a gift. They then danced together and had more fun, while Paige and Aaron watched them. Later, Terese, Paige, Xanthe and Ben gathered around to celebrate Piper’s birthday. The celebrant said she knows there was no party organised for her but it’s okay – she had an amazing day.

Meanwhile, Xanthe applied her family to Family Feud and they scored an interview that day. Gary, Sheila and Amy initially hesitated, but Xanthe was able to convince them to go through it. The young girl then briefed them about the interview – she wanted them to make it seem like their jobs are more exciting than the actual. At the studio, the Cannings and Amy were dressed to impress and the interview went well, until Gary, Sheila and Amy decided to be candid. Xanthe was clearly upset, knowing there’s no chance for them to be casted in the show, while Ben comforted her. Later, however, Xanthe got a surprising call – the Cannings are in for the Family Feud.
