‘Neighbours’ spoilers for Sept 2: Terese and Paul’s flirting games escalate; Piper’s war against Elly gets more serious
Taking things to a whole new level seems to be the central theme of the upcoming episode of “Neighbours.” On Friday, the rivalry between Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) and Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) continue to be coloured with sexual innuendos. Another unfortunate incident at Lassiters involving Madison Robinson (Sarah Ellen) brings the ex-lovers together, and there’s a huge chance that they’d end up hooking up again.
Meanwhile, Piper Willis (Mavournee Hazel) recovers from Elly Conway’s (Jodi Anasta) nasty and uncouth behaviour. However, Piper won’t be able to take Elly’s unfair treatment and decides to do something about it. Other “Neighbours” cast members who will also appear on the Sept. 2 episode include Brad Willis (Kip Gamblin), Lauren Turner (Kate Kendall), Ned (Ben Hall) and Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne).
“Neighbours” also stars Mark Brennan (Scott McGregor), Stephanie Scully (Carla Bonner), Jack Callahan (Andrew Morley), Gary (Damien Richardson), Paige Smith (Olympia Valance), Amy Williams (Zoe Cramond), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson), Tyler Brennan (Travis Burns), Ben Ian Kirk (Felix Mallard), Xanthe Canning (Lilly Van Der Meer), Sheila Canning (Colette Mann), Charlie Hoyland (Alexander McGuire), Sonya Rebecchi (Eve Morey), Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney), Karl (Alan Fletcher) and Jimmy Williams (Darcy Tadich).

“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Friday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Paul volunteers to look at Terese’s fuse box amid darkness. They are talking in hushed voices, their faces close. The sexual tension is undeniable between the two, with double entendre flying off from their mouths.
Digital Spy reports that this incident occurs before Madison’s first regular gig at The Waterhole. The power outage happens along with two other mishaps, making Madison think that her performance is jinxed. Meanwhile, spoilers also suggest that Piper tells her dad about Elly’s grudge against her. Brad refuses to believe it at first, but when he confronts Elly about it, he realises that Piper may be right.
Terese also talks to Elly, who warns her that she can tell Mr Udagawa the truth about the hidden cameras. Fearing Elly might act on her threats, Terese attempts to manage Piper. Lauren, meanwhile, encourages her to fight for what’s right, leading Piper to file an official complaint against Elly.
“Neighbours” recap
On Thursday, Jack wasn’t able to catch the intruder, leaving Steph extremely worried. She pressed Jack for more details, but he hesitated, bound by his duties as a priest. Later, Mark also grilled Jack, who gave vague information. Mark, however, realised that Jack heard about it at confession.
Mark consulted Toadie for any legal measure he can explore to break Jack’s seal of confession, but the lawyer said there’s nothing they could legally do. Mark then told her superior that the past incidents – the word “die” on Sonya’s car, Jimmy’s hit-and-run, snake attack and others – could have been related to Steph’s stalker. He then asked her permission to bug the confessional, but she said they’d never get a warrant and anything they heard would be inadmissible to court. She refused to give her approval on Mark’s proposal. However, Mark chose to disobey his superior and planted an illegal bug inside the confession booth.
Gary met with Paul, who gave him another task. Gary gave him a list of Lassiters guests who stayed at room with the hidden cameras. Paul contacted each and every guest to tell them about the incident. Later, Terese and Madison were notified by the head office about guests’ complaints in relation to the privacy breach. Terese concluded that Paul was the one who leaked the information.
Terese tried her best to contain the crisis, contacting the guests to do some damage control. Lassiters’ investors also heard about it, and Terese was compelled to take responsibility for the hidden camera situation. During her meeting with Mr Udagawa, Elly came in and revealed that the hidden cameras were actually planted by her students for their media project. The investor seemed satisfied with the answer, and it looked like Terese was off the hook. Later, Terese realised that Gary was responsible for sending Elly to rescue Terese, as his way of payback for helping Xanthe’s assault case.
Paige learned about Steph’s stalker and realised that it’s the reason why Jack had been keeping her close. She confronted him and asked outright whether he was only spending time with her because he thought she was the target. Jack kept silent, and Paige got her answer. She completely blew her top, saying that she almost gave up boxing because he said so. Paige said she doesn’t want to do anything with God and Jack, then walked off.
Meanwhile, Piper and Ned surprised Lauren and Brad with a used camper van they could use to go around Australia for their honeymoon. Piper was stunned to hear that the idea actually came from Elly, and the schoolgirl thought of trying to set aside her differences with her teacher. However, when Piper approached Elly, she was battling a serious migraine attack and could not help but snap at the teenager. “I don’t like you, skank,” Elly exclaimed, leaving Piper completely shocked.
