New Couple Alert: Actress Olivia Munn Dating NFL's Player 'The Photobomber' Aaron Rodgers [SEE PHOTOS]
"The Newsroom" actress Olivia Munn is dating NFL hunk Aaron Rodgers, it has been revealed. The pair was reportedly spotted having a dinner in a group of close friends at Nobu Malibu on May 10, usamagazine.com is reporting. The sources present at the posh restaurant told the Web site that Munn and Rodgers behaved like a couple and were even seen exchanging kisses.
Munn has recently split for her boyfriend of two years "Robocop" actor Joel Kinnaman. Munn seemed to have found love in the 30-year-old the Green Bay Packers' starting quarterback player Rodgers whom she publically met at the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas where both of them were present on stage to give away an award.
According to the Web site, 33-year-old Munn was seen hanging out with Rodgers backstage after the ceremony. The Web site also reports that the two were good friends even when Munn was dating Kinnaman and he provided her a shoulder for support when she broke up.
"They were actually close friends before they even started dating so they've been able to stay really good friends even through the breakup. It's just made things much easier for both of them," a source told the Web site.
Munn's new boy friend Rodgers has been notoriously famous for "photo bombing" (appearing at the back of someone else's picture) his captain's pictures since 2006. The California-born handsome sportsman appeared in every coin tossing picture of his captain and hence was given the name of "The Photobomber" of NFL. Rodgers is also a devout Christian but told ESPN in an earlier interview that he is not "over the top guy."
"I feel like my stance and my desire has always been to follow a quote from St. Francis of Assisi, who said, 'Preach the gospel at all times. If necessary, use words.'[93] So basically, I'm not an over-the-top, or an in-your-face kind of guy with my faith," Rodgers revealed in an interview, offthebench.nbcsports.com reports.
Meanwhile, Olivia Munn has always had a sporty bent of mind. After graduating from college, she became an intern at the NBC affiliate in Tulsa. She later also interned at Fox Sports Net in 2004 and also has experience of working a s sideline sports reporter covering football and basketball.
