Katy Perry showed up at Coachella Music Festival with her best pal Robert Pattinson thus sparking rumours that she and Rob are seeing each other. However, the truth is certainly different than this. The 29-year-old green haired beauty was actually flirting with DJ Diplo at the gala fest and the rumours say that the there is something much more going on between Katy and Diplo, which is far more than simple friendship.

Katy is single yet again after her split from long time singer boyfriend John Mayer in March. She has dyed her hair green and is back in the dating market with a style. So what better way to start than to hook up with someone she knows previously? DJ Diplo and Katy have been friends for a long time. The two seem to be having a good time with each other and Diplo even went inside Katy's bus at one point, Hollywoodlife.com is reporting.

"Katy and Diplo hooked up at Coachella. They were together behind the main stage, where she had a tour bus or trailer, and a group of her friends were hanging out," a source close to the couple told Page Six.

"It was very obvious that Katy and Diplo were together. They seemed inseparable and at one point they were seen getting onto her bus together," the source added.

The pair reportedly attended the Jeremy Scott-Adidas party on Saturday night, where the two were "definitely flirting," according to a source. Diplo and Katy were also spotted together backstage during a lot of occasions.

Diplo's last love interest was singer M.I.A whom he dated for more than five years but the 35-year-old producer is currently single. For Katy Perry, Coachella has been the place to meet and get to know new people. The "Unconditionally" singer has been linked to Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd in previous Coachella Festivals and the pair was seen holding hands and kissing each other shortly after Katy got divorced from her then husband Russel Brand.
