Nina Dobrev may finally be over her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder, who is currently romancing "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed. The actress is seeing another "The Vampire Diaries" co-star, Chris Wood, according to a report.

Hollywood Life is reporting that Nina Dobrev, who portrays the role of Elena in "The Vampire Diaries," and Chris Wood, who plays the role of Kai Parker in the CW series, have been "spotted hanging out." Not only that, the report claims the rumoured couple has also shared some kisses "off set lately."

The abovementioned celebrity and fashion news publication delved deeper to find out what's going on between the two "The Vampire Diaries" stars. The report notes Nina Dobrev, 25, and Chris Wood, 26, are "hooking up."

A source told the website that Nina Dobrev and Chris Wood are "great friends." The two apparently have "hooked up on the recent times they have been out together." However, the duo is not reportedly interested in getting into a relationship. The website states they are "casually dating" and are "very cool about it." The actress also shared a photo with Chris Wood on her Instagram account.

Meanwhile, the news has created quite a stir among the fans and media. Fans are "quite excited" for Nina Dobrev and Chris Wood. However, this is not the first time "The Vampire Diaries" actress has been linked to a tinsel town star. After her breakup with Ian Somerhalder, the actress has been romantically associated with Mark Foster, Chace Crawford and more. Fans must note that in the absence of official comments from the associated persons, the report remains unconfirmed.

Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder seems to be getting very serious with his new girlfriend Nikki Reed. E Online recently reported that the actor, who is best known for playing Damon in "The Vampire Diaries," was spotted visiting famous jewelry store Neil Lane on Dec. 10, 2014. However, there is no information about what he bought from there, if any, but it is speculated it could be either a Christmas gift or engagement ring for Nikki Reed.

A source told the publication that Ian Somehalder spent almost an hour in the store. There was reportedly no one in the store while he was there. Meanwhile, another source states they are not certain about his "stop by Neil Lane." But considering how fast things are moving between Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed, the source suggests it wouldn't be a surprise if the actor stopped by to buy an engagement ring. This report though is yet to be confirmed.

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder started dating in July 2014. As for the actor's relationship with Nina Dobrev, the former couple met on the sets of "The Vampire Diaries." They dated for three years before breaking up in 2013.
