For Twihards, it isn’t over for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Devoted tween fans made sure that the couple gets reunited even just as winners for one of the most anticipated and romantic awards at the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, the Choice Movie: Liplock.

And their hardwork was never in vain as Robert and Kristen won the Best Kiss award. The winner for the Liplock category was not announced, however, until the following day at TCA.

Here’s what happened why the award was announced late and the top reason for the delay.

The buzz of who won began to make noises when the curtain was rolled down at the Gibson Amphitheater Sunday. The delay in the announcement has raised confusion for Twihard fans who were more eager to find out if the Robsten team had won. They suspected the former lovers won but the popularity of "Man of Steel’s" Henry Cavill and his co-star, Amy Adams, have raised demands for recount.

With no official announcement from the TCA officials, Twihards found their eyes and ears from writer and photographer Larry Richman, who has developed close relationship with the solid Twilighters.

Giving them blow by blow account from inside the press room of the Gibson, Larry found himself as the great ally for each and every Twi-fan. He broke the news to them. And the couple was, indeed, chosen for the Best Kiss award with not so much an announcement as an “ambiguous ‘they’ won best kiss.” As if the award is imprinted on Robsten, Twifans knew they had it.

The delay in the announcement had caused some mystery to eager fans, and Larry.

But the fans knew all along. As they worked hard to ensure that they would bring home the surfboard.

With the Choice Movie : Liplock award, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" has nabbed eight titles at the recently concluded Teen Choice Awards.
