A new trailer for the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 has been released today.

Deathly Hallows: Part 1 follows Harry Potter, played by Daniel Radcliffe and his friends Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) and Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) as they track down and destroy the Horcruxes which store parts of Voldermort's soul. The trio faces the menace of the dark side without guidance or aid from Hogwart as Professor Dumbledore had died in the hands of Professor Snape.

Based on the trailer, it appears that the new films in the Harry Potter series will be darker than the previous films.

The final installment in the Harry Potter film series will be split into two full-length films, with the first part to be released in the United Kingdom on November 19. The second instalment is set for release on July 15, 2011.
