Heartthrob Ryan Gosling has been paired with Rachel McAdams, Emma Stone and Michelle Williams. Now, the actor has a new tough girl as leading lady in the form of "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" Rooney Mara.

The 31-year-old actor was spotted shooting for his newest film which he will be starring with 27-year-old actress Rooney Mara. The two were pictured together on location last Saturday for the untitled movie project by Terrence Malick that will be released for next year.

Ryan and Rooney were in Austin, Texas and were snapped in what looks like a bridge. Both were casually dressed in black with Mara gazing over at Ryan. Few of the outtakes from the shooting showed Ryan and Rooney exchanging smiles with each other.

According to IMBD, the movie is about a love triangle, intersecting obsession and betrayal that is set against a music scene. And to relieve the hearts of their respective partners Eva Mendes and Charlie McDowell, there will be no steamy parts involved in the film.

They were also seen filming in a vintage truck and another showed the two walking a dog. In between their breaks, Mara was spotted walking around the neighborhood while listening to music.

Ryan has worked with Rachel McAdams in the memorable movie, "The Notebook." They soon became real life sweethearts but their relationship didn't end as good as their blockbuster movie. Gosling also shared the movie screen with Michelle Williams in "Blue Valentine" and with Emma Stone in "Crazy Stupid Love."

The brilliant actor who could definitely make his audience swoon is currently dating Eva Mendes. They met on the set of their movie "The Place Behind the Pines." The two were rumored to have separated but brushed off the issue when they publicly stepped out together near Ryan's apartment in New York.
