Sydney Harbour on New Years Eve

Cargo Bar and Restaurant revealed its stellar lineup of acts set to play its "New Years Eve On The Harbour" 2011 party. The venue has complemented its stunning, elevated views of Sydney harbour with an international lineup of artists to see in the new year.

Australian electro-pop superstars "Architecture in Helsinki" have been confirmed for the event. Their latest album, released in April, reached as high as number 12 in the ARIA album charts. Also lined up for the festivities are iconic party-starters the "Yacht Club DJs". The duo mix epic combinations of party classics that are guaranteed to get you dancing, particularly when combined with their outlandish and extravagant onstage behavior.

Brooklyn-based hipsters "French Horn Rebellion" will play their intriguing blend of synth-pop mixed with disco vibes. The up-and-coming band have played support slots for "Hot Chip", "Sleigh Bells" and "Cut Copy" and will be looking to increase their Australian fan-base on New Years Eve.

Brisbane DJ "Sampology" joins the bill, bringing his unique live performance. "Sampology" is renowned for being much more than simply a musical performance. Complementing his mixes are spectacular visual shows that make his shows a complete multimedia performance.

The bill is completed by Sydney collective "Sosueme DJs" and Adelaide-based synth-disco artist "Luke Million".

With more acts to be announced, the tickets will sell fast when they go on sale at 12-noon, Oct. 10.
