NSW Opal cards to face 2.4% hike from July

Opal will be increasing fares from July. Commuters in New South Wales will face a 2.4 percent increase in their Opal fares, which Transport Minister Andrew Constance said will be in line with inflation.

Qantas Chief Executive Alan Joyce got a pie shoved in his face while speaking in Perth on Tuesday. The airline boss was addressing the audience at the West Business Leadership Matters event at the Hyatt Regency when a man casually walked onto the stage and shoved the pie in Joyce’s face.

12-year-old boy arrested, tried to drive from NSW to WA

A 12-year-old boy may be facing charges after driving 1,300 kilometres across New South Wales in the family car on Saturday. He was en route to Perth and was crossing the NSW border when he was pulled over by police.
