Nokia and Google have big days ahead with the Google Nexus 10 2 and Lumia 2520 set to be released in days. The 10-inch tablets are similar and here's how they stack up.

The Nokia Lumia 2520 will be available to consumers on Nov. 22, the day which Microsoft will release its Xbox One, Nokia Lumia 1320 and 1520 in the U.S. The 1520 is rumoured to have four colour variants while the 2520 10-inch tablet carries a Snapdragon 800 CPU, a full HD display with 32 GB storage and Adreno 330 GPU. It boasts of a multipoint-Touch, ClearBlack IPS LCS, and a 6.7 MP camera.

The Nokia Lumia 2520 has a Quad-core 2.2 GHz processor type which has a maximum standby time of 25 days and a battery capacity of 8,000 mAh. The LTE maximum data speed DL is 150 Mbps. What's great about the Nokia Lumia 2520 is its 4G LTE connectivity, 2 USB ports and it charges quickly with readability on its bright screen of 650 nits peak brightness. The Lumia can also stream videos and photos with just a tap. The tablet will run on Windows 8.1 RT and is expected to cost around $549.

The Google Nexus 10 2 is rumoured to be released on Nov. 21 when the Google Play Store attempts to improve the Android tablet experience and before the first week of Dec. when the iPad Air will be for sale. Rumours also have it that Asus will be the manufacturer of the Android tablet because it designed the Nexus 7 tablet. It could also have Android 4.4 pre-installed instead of the 4.3 as previously thought.

Developers announced the refurbishing and advised users to update apps and games. Apple remains to be standing alone with its large premium device, iPad but other tablets are becoming serious rivals. The Google Nexus 5 just debuted and the Nexus 10 2 is already set for release, taking on the iPad with an updated software, faster processor and sharp display. The tablet could also have a thinner and slimmer design with reduced bezels as compared to the current 603 g tablet.

The Google Nexus 10 2 will have a Sanpdragon 800 processor, Android 4.4 KitKat, 2 GB RAM, 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, a MicroSD slot with 16 GB and 32 GB options with LTE connectivity. The expected price is at $561.45.
