Nexus 5: Latest Rumors on Features and Specs for the Upcoming LG/Google Smart Phone
New reports on the highly anticipated Nexus 5 smart phone features and specifications have emerged. According to the Phone Arena report, an unidentified source revealed that the upcoming LG/Google Nexus 5 will have a smaller screen display, a huge battery and an enhanced 9MP CCD camera.
The previous reports on the Nexus 5 features and specifications include the 5-inch screen display with 1080p resolution, a quad-core processor and the incorporation of the Nikon camera. Now, Nexus 5 will reportedly not have a Full HD display or a microSD card slot but it will sport a smaller IPS screen display at 4.5-inches with a 720p resolution for a more suitable and compact design.
Other rumored features and specifications of the Nexus 5 is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, a 2800mAh battery for a much longer battery life and the remarkable 9MP CCD camera which is an extraordinary smart phone camera sensor. However, Google's implementation on the CCD imaging technology in replacement of its current CMOS is still uncertain just like the rumored collaborative work for the Nikon camera on the Nexus 5 smart phone.
Though Nexus 5 does not have a microSD card slot, it is expected that the size of the internal storage capacity will be significantly big enough to store files. Details on which manufacturer will produce the Nexus 5 has not been confirmed either but LG and Google are expected to work together once again for another successful smart phone creation like the LG/Google Nexus 4.
For the Nexus 5 release, the exact date has not yet been confirmed. The Google Nexus release cycle is only speculated to occur during the holiday season since the Nexus and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus were released at that period of time.
