Nexus 7, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 Android 4.4.1 KitKat Updates Near
It has been reported that Google is already gearing up the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 Android 4.4.1 KitKat update as the release date is pretty close.
Although there is no specific date yet, it is claimed the HTC One Google Edition Android 4.4.1 KitKat update is near and the build will be KOT495. It is assumed that the software will not only arrive for the HTC One Google Edition but also for Google Nexus devices. It is proven with the site analytics running on Nexus 7, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S4, also known as the GT-I9500.
The first Android 4.4.1 KitKat update arrived Nov. 3 but things were pretty silent until Nov. 15. The update started picking up on the week of Nov. 18 and continued progress on Thanksgiving, making users believe that Android 4.4.1 KitKat is finally ready.
Google Nexus 7, Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S4 updates emerged but it could actually be the Google Play Edition that's running the software. The HTC One Google Play Edition Android 4.4 KitKat update hasn't been out with the Nexus 10 update and both devices reportedly will not see the update until 2014.
The devices are within Santa Clara and it's a sign that Google engineers are working hard to prepare the arrival of this update. The analytics do not reveal the release date but rumors and its frequency all point to a closer date for Nexus users.
Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 5 users are waiting anxiously for the Android 4.4 KitKat bug fix update because of bugs that reportedly plague the software. Users complain about many issues that include a major problem with Microsoft Exchange and a bug that unfortunately leads to a massive battery life loss among Google Nexus users.
Some users complain about touchscreen issues on the Nexus 7, lag, slow charging and more. While Android 4.4.1 KitKat might not be able to fix all of those problems, the first major Android 4.4 KitKat update fix will likely address most of these issues.
