NFL Dallas Cowboys' Phil Costa and Brooke Hogan Split, Engagement is Off

Dallas Cowboys' Phil Costa and Hulk Hogan's daughter Brooke Hogan have broken up, as reported by TMZ. Now that they are no longer a couple, their engagement has also been called off.

Back in June, Costa, who currently plays as center and guard for the National Football League's (NFL) Dallas Cowboys, has proposed to Brooke while they are on a vacation in Las Vegas. She even posted a picture on her Instagram, showing Costa on his knees. "Happiest moment of my LIFE, I am marrying my best friend," she wrote. "I am so lucky and so grateful, I wouldn't choose anyone else," she added.

The picture can no longer be seen on the popular photo-sharing Web site. Brooke may have already deleted it now the engagement is off.

It looked like the wind has really indeed changed its direction. A source told TMZ that Brooke did not anticipate things to move so quickly, which is what made her lead to calling off the engagement. She has a music career and she has decided to focus on it. Brooke moved to Los Angeles to finish her album and to be closer to her mum.

Well, an engagement can really be demanding, at times, especially for women. However, no matter how stressful things look like, if your love for each other is genuine, it shouldn't really be that big of a deal. Maybe, now is just not the right time.

Costa has not aired out his side regarding the news, but now that Brooke is focusing on her music career, he is probably going to devote his time helping the Cowboys win the National Football Conference (NFC) East Title. The Cowboys currently ranks second in the NFC Eastern Division with 5 wins and 5 losses. The Cowboys currently faces the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Sunday evening.
