Star running back Marshawn Lynch is still undecided if he wants to continue playing in the National Football League, or NFL, or return to the Seattle Seahawk. The franchise also hasn’t heard from Lynch or his camp to put a big question mark on the status of the player with the nickname, “Beast Mode” for the upcoming 2015 season.

"He's a guy that kind of beats to his own drum. He does what he wants. He would never let you know one way or the other. There's been a lot of great running backs that have just walked away. So I have no idea,” Seahawks general manager John Schneider said in the league’s official website. The Seattle GM was asked about the latest on Lynch, his future plans and the possibility that Lynch will retire from playing football during the NFL Scouting Combine.

"We'll have to adjust, but we have to do that at every position, so we constantly have models and plans for what's coming. We'd just have to move forward with Plan B.”

In 2012, Lynch signed a four-year, $30 million contract and set to earn around $7 million in 2015 if he decides to comeback. In previous weeks, Schneider admitted that they need to work on the contract situation of Lynch, who may demand a long-term extension with the squad if he still wants to play in the league.

Just last Feb. 14, an ex-teammate by Lynch, Michael Robinson stated that he talked with the star running back and was told that he was unsure of his return to the Seahawks or the NFL. Robinson also added that money will not be a factor in the decision of Lynch although he expects his former teammate to still play for the squad in the 2015 season. Lynch has made the NFL Pro Bowl five times named to the squad in 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 and is currently considered the top running back in the entire league.
