A video posted on Vine last Sept. 16 allegedly shows the One Direction singer kissing another guy. Following the video, gay rumours started to circulate online to which Niall Horan quickly addressed.

According to Yahoo Celebrity UK, the video does seem to show the singer kissing a guy.

For his 21st birthday celeb, Niall Horan and invited guests hit the party lights at a Las Vegas club. Previous reports confirmed Harry Styles, 20, could not join his pal's night party, because according to Inquisitr, his age does not permit him to. However, few were quick to speculate that the video showed a guy who looks like Harry. The mystery guy also happens to be the recipient of Niall's supposed kiss.

But the site argued it could not have been HS basing on his facial hair. The mystery guy may have sported a "samurai bun," Harry's trademark hairstyle. But his beard reportedly confirmed he is not the 1D singer.

Furthermore, there's no clear justification that Niall Horan was indeed kissing the guy. The site contested the pair could only have been having a friendly chat.

Niall Horan was also quick to address the gay rumours. On his Twitter account on the same day that the video went viral, he slammed the speculations as being hilarious.

Apparently, the mystery guy in the Vine video is certainly not Harry Styles. Queerty confirmed it was no other than One Direction songwriter Julian Bunetta. The site also argued Niall Horan was definitely not "kissing a guy," as was initially speculated.

In the video, it shows the 21-year-old and Julian in what Queerty called as a "slightly suggestive interaction between two men." Inquisitr adds Niall had his arm around Julian's shoulder while the latter on the singer's waist. However, what probably set off the "kissing a guy" rumour was when they leaned in close to each other. Queerty claims the pair was probably just talking loud into each other's ears over the loud music.

Furthermore, it was a little dark inside the club to figure out what exactly happened between the two. Likewise, Inquisitr claims the Vine video was a little hazy.
