It seems Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence is unable to bridge a gap, which has allegedly rose its ugly head in their relationship. The two said to have split over Lawrence's "explosive ego" as per the reports.

"They're still talking but Nicholas is moving on," a source told The Fix. "He hates how in love with fame Jen is, and he told her he hates dating an A-list actress. That was the most hurtful to Jen because she's worked so hard for her achievements and she's so proud of her career. But Nic wants a more low-key girlfriend and Riley fits the bill."

While the two have not confirmed the split, it is being said that Hoult was spotted on a dinner date with Keough. On July 23, the two were seen together at No. 8's "Philo Prom" and getting really cozy.

"They were sitting arm-in-arm in a booth with Adam Lambert and Charl Brown," a spy told Page Six.

Hoult was also spotted on an alleged date with his "Equals" co-star Kristen Stewart. The two are alone in a foreign country Tokyo for the film.

However, this is not the first time that Hoult has been linked to Stewart. A lot was said about them in this year in May. That time Lawrence had played down the Stewart and Hoult's link up rumours by suggesting that she and Stewart are great friends.

"There was something in a magazine, and I was like, 'Oh, my God, that's hilarious,' because Kristen and I are friends," Jen told Marie Claire magazine in the June issue. "I actually texted her a picture of it and was like, 'Just so you know, this is absolutely true."

Lawrence and Hoult started dating in 2011 but called it quits in January 2013. Later, they reignited the romance in July 2013.
