Nick Jonas Moves on from 'The Jonas Brothers' Band, To Release Solo Album with Mike Posner
Nick Jonas is moving on from his band Jonas Brothers and releasing his first solo album since the band breakup. This is confirmed by no other than Mike Posner on June 9. While his brothers Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas are busy with their own lives, it seems as if Nick cannot forget his music career, forging on even if alone. The release date has not yet been confirmed, but a collaboration between Mike and Nick will be included on the album, Hollywood Life confirms.
Mike Posner tweeted: "@nickjonas is a great writer and musician. Just wait for his new album. Flames. #rli." This tweet prompts excitement for Nick Jonas fans everywhere.
Nick responded to Posner's announcement and praise with a photo of he and Mike on Instagram that was captioned: "Great session with @mikeposner #music."
This may be his first solo album since the band Jonas Brothers went on a hiatus, but this is hardly the first time that Nick wowed everyone with his singing prowess and musicality. He already released an album back in 2005, when he was just a 13-year old boy. The album was self-titled, Nicholas Jonas. However, Jonas Borthers as a band was born on 2006 and Nick forgot about being a solo artist until now. According to Hollywood Life however, it is expected that Nick will offer a more mature singing style this time around.
Nick Jonas' brother, Kevin Jonas on the other hand, is very busy being a family man. Kevin Jonas recently sold his northern New Jersey mansion for $1.67 million and opted to move closer to his hometown of Wyckoff. Here, he stated his own construction company named Jonas Werner Construction. In fact, the construction company's first project is a home for him and wife, Danielle and months-old baby girl, Alena.
The house sold is the same mansion where he and Danielle filmed their short reality TV show "Married to Jonas," which was aired on E! Network. It is an impressive 4,788 sq. home having five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.
Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas are also working on the "Off the Record" tour as well, which Nick pulled out off.
