Nick Jonas and New York-based artist Peter Tunney joined forces to give the "All About That Bass" singer Meghan Trainor a 21st birthday bash. The party was held on Dec. 21 at the Tunney's gallery at the Wynwood Walls in Miami. Guests at the birthday party included Pete Wentz as well as Republic Records honcho Charlie Walk.

Before the party, Meghan Trainor also performed at the Y100's Jingle Ball at the BB&T Center, along with other singers such as Ariana Grande, Calvin Harris, Pharrell, Iggy Azalea and Jason Derulo. Meghan was also given a surprise cake by Nick Jonas on the occasion. NY Daily News reports that Nick Jonas personally delivered a cake to her on the Jingle Ball and persuaded the crowd to serenade her a "Happy Birthday" song, which made the singer emotional.

2014 has been a really great year for the singer. She's now featured in Sunday's Tennessean Portfolio cover story, which is about Nashville musicians who made the biggest splash during the year.

Now that she's 21, she'll be looking forward to more amazing things, especially on 2015. She is up for two top awards at the Grammy Awards in February. Her hit song "All About That Bass" is nominated for two titles: record and song of the year. On March 20, the singer would also have her very first full concert in Nashville. Trainor also has a new album, cryptically titled "Title." The album would include 11 tracks, including a song titled 'Title" as well. Her chart-topping hit "All About That Bass" would also be thrown in the new album, alongside her new single, "Lips Are Movin." Fans would also be treated to a duet between Trainor and R&B singer/songwriter John Legend in the song "Like I'm Gonna Lose You."

After this album is released on January, Trainor also has great plans for her next releases, probably reggae. She said, ''I want it to be crazy. I want it to be awesome. I want it to be different."
