Nick Young Gets Suspended after Brawl with Phoenix Suns
Nick Young received a one-game suspension after throwing punches to Goran Dragic during the game between Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. The Lakers lost to Suns with the score of 114-121. Young will not be allowed to play on his team's game against the Boston Celtics on Friday.
In addition to the one-game suspension that the NBA imposed on Young, the other two players who got into the scuffle, Alex Len and Marcus Morris, were also fined by the NBA amounting to $15,000 and $25,000, respectively.
The incident happened during the second quarter when Young went for a quick layup but was fouled by Len. Young was thrown on to the ground but he immediately came back up and stormed towards Len. A number of Suns' players quickly clashed with Young. He then managed to throw a punch at Goran Dragic before Young was eventually ejected from the game.
As for Dragic, he said that he never really felt being hit. "He just tapped me," Dragic told Craig Grialou. "A friendly tap," he added. "It was nothing, seriously," said Dragic. The Suns' player insisted that he never felt anything and that it was not a strong punch.
NBA's president for Baskeball Operations Rod Thorn officially made the announcement of Young's one-game suspension.
Young is currently the leading Lakers' scorer. He averages 16.4 points per game. Without Young, will Lakers be able to play tough? The team already has enough injured players, such as Jordan Farmar, Steve Nash, Xavier Henry, Steve Blake, and Kobe Bryant. The last thing they would want right now is to have the team's leading scorer out of the lineup, but then again, Young will only miss one game so they should be fine. Young will just have to make sure not to get into trouble in the future.

Did you see that foul? What do you think? Young probably just did what any player would do. Regardless, it was an unsportsmanlike conduct. We wonder what Young's girlfriend Aussie singer-rapper Iggy Azalea has to say about this.
