Liz Hernandez of "Access Hollywood" took to Twitter to expressed her hurt and anger towards Nicki Minaj for being disrespected. She was tasked to cover the AMAs red carpet and claimed she experienced the rudeness from the "Pills 'N Potions"singer.
"Never in the workplace has someone been so disrespectful to me as Nicki Minaj yesterday. I feel embarrassed to have supported her as a fan," tweeted Hernandez, who covered the AMAs red carpet. Page Six got to the bottom of the said "disrespect" and learned that Minaj did not like it when reporters brought up her Iggy Azalea, a co-rapper who is said to be feuding with Nicki.
Their feud is said to start since Minaj's controversial BET Awards speech, which was seen as a diss against Azalea and her work. Moreover, it was noted at that time that Iggy's name was listed as a co-writer in the song "Work" and her collaboration with Ariana Grande, "Problem" but not on "Fancy."
Reps from either Access Hollwood or Nicki Minaj still did not comment on the issue. Nicki Minaj's latest interview for the December/January issue of Complex Magazine however, may however, shed some light on the matter. She told the interviewer that she already proven so much so she does not need to feel ashamed nor unhappy with anything. She added that she's already proven that she's a rapper and a writer. She called herself "the real deal." "I'm at the level in my career and in my life now where I can do whatever the hell I want to," she added.
