Nicki Minaj And Ex Safaree Samuels Publicly Feuds Over Breakup Again, Female Rapper Warns Against His ‘Intent’
Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels dished out the real reason why he walked away from the relationship. According to him, he left Nicki Minaj because he felt disrespected and belittled. The female rapper sent a cryptic tweet as a response to his allegations.
Regardless of what was written on the matter, Safaree wanted the public to know that he was not dumped, because he was the one who walked away from the 12-year relationship. In a radio interview with Power 105.1's "The Breakfast Club," Safaree devoted most of his airtime talking about what led to his split with Nicki Minaj. Samuels claimed that he felt pained that he seemed to matter little to Nicki the more famous she got. He shared that since everyone around her works for her, it got to the point that he himself was starting to be "treated like an employee, instead of like her man." He could not take the belittling and disrespect he said he experienced because he was the one who Nicki slept with every night and woke up with every morning. He also asserted that he helped write Nicki Minaj's songs. He also shared that he could not understand why Nicki almost kept him a secret until they were nearly broken up.
The "Anaconda" singer did not take these accusations sitting down. Mirror UK reports that she sent out a cryptic Twitter message against the claims of her ex-boyfriend that he was treated more as an employee than a boyfriend, pushing him to pack his bags and leave. As she promotes her newest album, "Pink Print," Nicki also wrote, "Always look past what a person is saying and see their intent. Intent will give u a different level of understanding."
Nicki never minced words when expressing her anger against his ex and how they broke up. After their highly publicised breakup, Nicki got angry over a report that Safaree was suicidal now that they are apart. Her response to the report was telling of what she felt over the breakup. For her, she was the one who gave up more for the relationship. She also said that her ex has an "ungrateful evil soul." She said that threats and blackmails would not work on her. She even said "jump," presumably asking Samuels to do what he is threatening to do: commit suicide.
