Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea Should Bury the Hatchet, Make Peace, and Record a New Song Together
Nicki Minaj and Iggy Azalea should bury the hatchet over recent dispute and just record a new tune together. Whatever squabble they had recently should just be put behind them. As the saying goes, let bygones be bygones.
According to Bonnie Fuller of Hollywood Life, Nicki should stop dissing Iggy. Instead, the two female rappers should do a collaboration and create beautiful music together. The Hollywood correspondent thought Nicki and Iggy both have the musical talents and they can create the "biggest hit of the 2014 summer."
The suggestion sparked a range of mixed reactions from people. One person commented and said that the two rappers need to take voice lessons and scrap the auto tune on their music.
Another commenter thought that Iggy's speech during the 2014 BET Awards wasn't at all intended for Iggy because she didn't mention any names and if the Aussie singer-rapper got offended, it was because she was guilt-ridden. She said Nicki doesn't need Iggy.
A Twitter user thought it was a good idea.
Oh hell yes. Please do it!! Collab ladies. @IGGYAZALEA @NICKIMINAJ #NickiIggyTrack

During her acceptance speech for the Best Female Rapper award where Iggy was also nominated at the 2014 BET Awards, people thought that Nicki was poking fun at the flawless Aussie-born singer-rapper amidst that rumours that Iggy was using a ghost writer for her songs. "When you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it," the "Superbass" singer uttered.
Nicki cleared the supposed beef in a tweet.
The media puts words in my mouth all the time and this is no different. I will always take a stance on women writing b/c I believe in us!

Iggy kept mum about the incident, but aired out her feelings on Instagram. She said that she wasn't feeling any disappointment that she didn't win in the BET Awards. She said she knew that it wasn't her time yet. "Generally speaking, I'm unbothered by anything that 'happened' at the BET awards and just feel worn out by everyone trying to make me have wars with people all the time," wrote Iggy.
Iggy's boyfriend Los Angeles Lakers star player Nick Young also came to Iggy's defense. "Iggy is doing big things and it's scaring a lot of people," he told US Magazine.
