“Twilight” star Nikki Reed was dressed in a custom couture gown in lace when she said “I do” to her man “Vampire Diaries” actor Ian Somerhalder. The duo got married in Malibu, California on April 26. The ceremony took place during sunset with the bride rocking her boho style, according to Hello.

The 26-year-old Nikki wore a custom couture Claire Pettibone beaded ivory gown for her special day. The gown made of Chantilly lace had delicate beading. The design featured a plunging low back, illusion lace neckline and delicate long sleeves. It is a modified version of the designer’s Elizabeth gown with a long trail resembling the fishtail style.

The actress did away with the traditional veil and opted for a string of white flowers along the back of her head. She carried a white wedding bouquet in hand. The 36-year-old Ian on his part looked dapper in a light-coloured suit paired with a cornflower blue tie. [See The Picture Here]

“Nikki was a delight to design for, and I wish the beautiful couple every happiness,” Pettibone said in a statement. The couple were surrounded by lots of greenery in their outdoor wedding and exchanged their vows during sunset in front of a small group of guests, which included Lea Michele. One sweet picture surfacing on Twitter showed Ian carrying his bride across the grass before they posed for wedding pictures with their friends and family. Meanwhile, the “Vampire Diaries” confirmed the happy news on his Twitter account on the day of his wedding. “Most beautiful morning ever…” he told his 5.8 million followers.

Ian and Nikki got engaged in January this year after six months of dating. Ian popped the question to Nikki with a unique antique-inspired sparkler, featuring a round centre diamond surrounded by smaller round diamonds for a floral-cluster vibe. His co-star Kat Graham from “Vampire Diaries” recently described the loved-up couple as true “soul mates”.This is the first marriage for Somerhalder and the second for Reed, who split from “American Idol” musician Paul McDonald in March 2014.
