Nina Dobrev might have started moving on from her former longtime boyfriend, "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder. The actress, who plays the role of Elena in the CW series, reportedly celebrated Thanksgiving with "Gossip Girls" actor Chace Crawford, sparking relationship rumours.

While reporting the "scoop" on Nina Dobrev and Chace Crawford's relationship, the Hollywood Life speculates whether "The Vampire Diaries" actress is finally "moving on romantically after her split with Ian Somehalder." Also, it clarified what's between the two. According to the abovementioned publication, Chace Crawford and Nina Dobrev spent the Thanksgiving holiday together, but the two were not alone. They were accompanied by their common friend Jessica Szohr.

The report notes that it seems that the group had lots of fun together during the festive season. The three buddies reunited at Texas where they not only enjoyed Thanksgiving but also the Dallas Cowboys football game.

Shutting down the romance rumours, the website reports that Nina Dobrev and Chace Crawford are only friends as a source confirmed to the publication. Furthermore, the source claims that the actor is "too high maintenance for Nina Dobrev." On the other hand, the actress is "too much of a tomboy for him." Even the rep to the actress has confirmed that the duo is "just friends."

Nina Dobrev flooded her Instagram profile with pictures from the day of celebration with her two best friends. As noted by the publication, she prefers calling it "Friendsgiving." As for Ian Somerhalder, the actor reportedly most likely spent Thanksgiving with his new girlfriend Nikki Reed, whom he started dating in July 2014.

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev met each other on the sets of their blockbuster hit TV show "The Vampire Diaries." They portrayed the popular onscreen couple, Elena and Damon. Soon after, their romance extended from reel life to real life. As per Perez Hilton, the two dated for almost three years before calling it quits in September 2013.

However, this is not the first time actress Nina Dobrev has been romantically linked to other actors. After her split from Ian Somerhalder, she has been linked to several tinsel town hunks including Chace Crawford.

Recent rumours surfaced claiming that the actress is now dating her ex's friend Mark Foster of the "Foster The People" band. Hollywood New Daily reports that Nina Dobrev may be "getting some revenge" on her former boyfriend for dating her "former friend" Nikki Reed. Not only that, in early September, reports emerged claiming that the actress is trying to rekindle her romance with her ex-boyfriend, choreographer Derek Hough. They "may be giving their love a second chance," reported Hollywood Life.
