Nina Dobrev is a Canadian so she has no problem with healthcare, but as the star of American hit series “The Vampire Diaries,” she also has no problem of getting heard by her American fans. The 24-year-old actress has shed off her clothes to entice people to support Obamacare.

“I’m Canadian. We have healthcare for all,” the Bulgarian-born brunette captioned her Instagram picture, adding URL of Web sites where people without insurance can go sign up.

“Because w/o it, youre naked.” (sic)

In the photo, the only thing covering the topless actress’ modesty is a sign that reads “#getcovered.” The hashtag pertains to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), or more commonly known as Obamacare, which makes healthcare affordable for Americans.

Republicans have been fighting the implementation of the ACA, which has led to the government’s shutdown after the Congress did not pass a funding bill on Monday for the end of the fiscal year.

Dobrev isn’t the only star lending her power to the cause. Just recently, Jennifer Hudson has also encouraged her fellow Americans to sign up for the ACA in a hilarious Funny or Die Clip, which spoofs Kerry Washington’s show “Scandal.”
