Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley Threesome Shines at Young Hollywood Awards 2014, Check Complete List of Winners
"The Vampire Diaries" co-stars Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Wesley shined bright at the Young Hollywood Awards 2014 held at The Wiltern Theater, Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening, July 27.
According to the Young Hollywood Awards Web site, the co-stars won the Best Threesome category. The 35-year old actor Ian Somerhalder received the award in behalf of his two "Vampire Diaries" co-stars. The Dobrev, Somerhalder, and Wesley threesome bested "The Hunger Games" co-stars Liam Hemsworth, Jennifer Lawrence, and Josh Hutcherson as well as "Neighbors" co-stars Zac Efron, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Dave Franco. Other nominees for the said category were Miles Teller, Zac Efron, and Michael B. Jordan of "That Awkward Moment" and Adam DeVine, Blake Anderson, and Anders Holm of "Workaholics."
Nina Dobrev was also nominated for the category on Fan Favourite Actress but it was Chloe Grace Moretz who snagged the award. Other nominees for the said category were Emilia Clarke, Shailene Woodley, Zooey Deschanel, Taylor Schilling, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Roberts, Allison Williams, Kaley Cuoco, Emmy Rossum, and Emma Stone.
Ansel Elgort grabbed the award for Fan Favourite Actor as he moved ahead of the 11 other nominees Adam Driver, Channing Tatum, Josh Hutcherson, Andrew Garfield, Michael B. Jordan, Aaron Paul, Liam Hemsworth, Jonah Hill, Theo James, Taylor Lautner, and Andy Samberg.
For the category on Coolest Crossover Artist, Nick Jonas got the award and bested other nominees Ariana Grande, Kate Upton, Lea Michele, and Shaun White.
Dylan O'Brien was awarded the Breakthrough Actor and stepped ahead of the other nominees Sam Claflin, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, and Nat Wolff. For the counterpart Breakthrough Actress category, Danielle Brooks secured the spot. Her fellow contenders for the said category were Dakota Johnson, Margot Robbie, Elle Fanning, and Nicola Peltz.
Meanwhile, Ashley Tisdale nailed the spot for #SocialMediaSuperstar. She bested the other nominees Ariana Grande, R5, Bella Thorne, Austin Mahone, and Chrissy Teigen.
For the category on the Hottest Body of Work, Derek Hough grabbed the award and moved ahead of the other nominees James Maslow, Kate Upton, Kellan Lutz, and Chrissy Teigen.
"The Fault in Our Stars" co-stars Shailane Woodley and Ansel Elgort were awarded the category on Best On-Screen Couple. Woodley was also nominated along with Theo James of "Divergent." The other contenders for the said category were Chris Colfer and Darren Criss of "Glee;" Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons of "The Big Bang Theory" and Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2."
Meanwhile, Jonah Hill & Channing Tatum secured the award for Best Bromance. Their contenders for the category were Mark Ballas & Derek Hough; Adam Levine & Blake Shelton, Key & Peele, and Seth Rogen & James Franco.
For the Super Superhero category, Kellan Lutz of "The Legend of Hercules" won the award. The other contenders for this category were Stephen Amell of "Arrow," Nicholas Hoult of "X-Men: Days of Future Past," Andrew Garfield of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," Chris Evans of "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," and Chris Pratt of "Guardians of the Galaxy."
Amy Schumer got the award for the category Cuz You're Funny and bested the other nominees Aziz Ansari, Aubrey Plaza, Kenan Thompson, Adam DeVine, and Rebel Wilson. While Bella Thorne was awarded for the category You're So Fancy. She bested other nominees Kendall Jenner, Emmy Rossum, Cara Delevingne, Rita Ora, and Kiernan Shipka.
Pablo Schreiber of "Orage is the New Black" won the award for the category We Love to Hate You. The other contenders for this category were Dane DeHaan of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," Sam Riley of "Maleficent," Jack Gleeson of "Games of Thrones," and Zombies of "The Walking Dead."
For the category on Hottest Music Artist, Ed Sheeran secured the award and stayed on top of his fellow contenders Iggy Azalea, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, One Direction, and Sam Smith. But it was Sam Smith who grabbed the award for Breakout Music Artist. His fellow nominees for the category are Martin Garrix, Rita Ora, 5 Seconds of Summer, HAIM, and Rixton
Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" featuring Charlie XCX was awarded as Song of the Summer/DJ Replay. Iggy Azalea was also featured in Ariana Grande's "Problem" which was also nominated for the same category. Other nominees are Demi Lovato's "Really Don't Care" featuring Cher Lloyd, MAGIC!'s "Rude," Sam Smith's "Stay With Me," and Jason Derulo's "Wiggle" featuring Snoop Dogg.
Louie Vito snugged the award for Most Awesome Athlete and moved ahead of the other nominees Nyjah Huston, Chris Paul, Kolohe Andino, LA Kings, and Richard Sherman. While Jenna Marbles captured the award for Viral Superstar and bested fellow nominees Ryan Higa, Bethany Mota, Christina Grimmie, and Tyler Oakley.
"Orange is the New Black" got the award for BIngeworthy TV Show and fared ahead of "Game of Thrones," "Teen Wolf," "Awkward," " Pretty Little Liars," and "The Walking Dead." While "The Fault in our Stars" was awarded as Favourite Flick. It bested other nominees "Divergent," "Maleficent," "22 Jump Street," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," and "The Hunger Games."
Finally, "The Bachelor and The Bachelorette" grabbed the award for Reality Royalty and bested the other nominees "The Real Housewives," "The Voice," "America's Next Top Model, and "So You Think You Can Dance."
