Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's Relationship is Over: 'Vampire Diaries' Actor Keeping Romance with Nikki Reed Under Wraps - Reports

Nina Dobrev has no idea about Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's romance as per the reports. The buzz has it that Nina thought they were all close friends and was immune to the idea of Ian dating Nikki.

Ian and Nikki were spotted getting cozy in a farmer's market recently and this had led to speculations that the two are dating.

"Ian and Nikki are still in the trial stage of their relationship and they haven't shared with many that they are testing it out. They don't ever want to broadcast to the world what they are doing in their personal life, especially if it isn't going to go anywhere," reports HollywoodLife about their alleged romance.

It is understood that Ian and Nikki don't want to hurt Nina's feelings and that is why they are making sure that they keep their romance hush-hush.

"They are definitely keeping others [Nina & Paul's] feelings close as they work on their decisions to start an exclusive relationship together. They don't want to upset anyone. It is beyond baby steps right now between the two and Nina hasn't been told anything. But Nina isn't stupid either, she reads the gossip like the rest of us so she will know soon enough," an insider to the Web Site explained.

Before sparking romance rumours with Ian, Nikka was dating Paul McDonald. Ian, Nina, Nikki and Paul are said to close friends and use to double date when Ian was with Nina and Nikki was with Paul.

Paul and Nikki called it quits earlier this march and is said to be heartbroken. Even Paul is upset with break-up as he always wanted to be with her.

"Paul is still totally heartbroken over the break up. He loves her and always will. They still work together and are in contact, he tries not to ask too much about anything but he's hurt. He had every intention of being with her forever," a source said about Paul's feelings to the Web site.
