Nina Dobrev, Kellan Lutz: Twilight Actor Jokes about Distance Rule with Vampire Diaries Actress at 2014 Teen Choice Awards to Avoid Dating Rumours [VIDEO]

Another "The Vampire Diaries" and "Twilight" pairing happened at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards with Nina Dobrev and Kellan Lutz taking the stage as presenters last Sunday night, Aug. 10, in Los Angeles. However, the "Twilight" actor made sure that he is standing far away from the 25-year-old TVD actress to avoid dating rumours.

Nina and Kellan were about to present the "Choice Movie Actress" award when Nina noticed Kellan was slowly moving away from her. "What are you doing?" Nina asked.

Kellan implied that standing close to Nina Dobrev will make him another rumoured boyfriend of the actress following the dating reports that surfaced at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. Have a look at the video below.

The Bulgarian-Canadian actress looked stunning at the awards ceremony with her multi-coloured top, sexy shorts and pink shoes. According to a Hollywood Life report, drama is expected to unfold at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards because Nina's ex and "Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder is there with his new girlfriend, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed.

According to a Hollywood Life report, an unnamed source exclusively revealed that Nina Dobrev gave a mature response and attitude to his ex moving on with a friend of hers. According to the insider, the actress revealed she wants Ian Somerhalder to be happy even though it is with one of their mutual friends.

Their relationship is over but Ian and Nina continue to work together in the CW TV series "The Vampire Diaries" where they portray the on-screen couple Damon and Elena or "Delena." Filming for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is currently underway.

In the upcoming new season, fans will find out if Damon will find a way to go back to Elena in Mystic Falls after the Other Side collapsed in the Season 5 finale with him in it as well as Bonnie (Kat Graham). "The Vampire Diaries" will return with Season 6 on Thursday night, Oct. 2, at 8/7c on the CW Network.
